Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was the child of a Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian and English as well as French Persian and Hindi. The parents of Annet Mahendru are Russian and Indian. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 that aired on German TV, changed her into the Russian dancer and snow maiden. After high school, she graduated with a bachelor's diploma from the Department of English at the University of New York. Following her high school years, she took classes in acting at HB however she opted to improvise classes at Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. She was raised in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, and a Russian-speaking mother Olga. Her family relocated to East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she was 13, and is now starring with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. In FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is one of her best television performance. Her recurring role in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
